Big Names Confirmed For Truxx Factor!

The biggest names in road haulage are now confirmed for the trucking spectacular show that takes place at Rockingham Motor Speedway on the weekend of September 30th and October 1st.

Wabco, the leading global supplier of commercial vehicle technologies, and Pertemps, one of the UK’s largest LGV training companies & recruiters, are now confirmed as Truxx Factor Show partners.

John Poliquin, Pertemps director, said Truxx Factor is a great way to introduce younger people and ladies and get them involved in logistics. “It’s fantastic; Rockingham is a fabulous venue. Truxx Factor is a great family weekend out – it’s brilliant,” he said.

The nation’s largest and best known fleet operators are also on-board for the two-day spectacular. Middlebrook Transport from Derbyshire will be joining BSI Transport, EM Rogers, George Varney and Wrefords Transport in showcasing their trucks at Rockingham Motor Speedway.

“It’s a fantastic event, show organiser Steve Horne does a cracking job, my drivers love the weekend,” explained Andy Wreford, director at Wrefords Transport.

Andy’s fleet will be there, including two classic trucks He said: “I’ll be taking my 1954 Bedford K Class and the 1952 Leyland Comet, which was the first vehicle the family bought.”

Corby Radio has now joined forces with Truxx Factor to bring a whole new dimension to the festival with a carnival feel to get things moving to the beat throughout the weekend.

There is plenty to see and do at Truxx Factor with Monster Truck rides for adults, Remote Control Trucks, Mini Monster Truck rides for kids as well as Standard Truck and Race Truck Rides. There is even a Race Truck Simulator to test your driving ability on the circuit.

Truxx Factor will also host the world famous Ken Fox Wall of Death with Customised Hot Rods, Vans & Street Cars, American Cars & Pickups on display.

There will be a Family Funfair and many children attractions indoor and out to make Truxx Factor a truly family friendly weekend!

A second live arena will combine the visual impact and smell of BriSCA (British Stock Car Association) F1 stock cars and drifters burning rubber in their demonstrations.

There is a lot more going on besides, he explained, with trade and industry displays such as LGV driver training and forklift training assault course. Heavyweight recovery trucks will put on a live display and there will be public truck rides too. Plus local strongmen will take on the truckers in a Truck Pull.

On display in the Truxx Factor Truck Show will be custom, restored, American, retro and vintage trucks, complimented by hard-working fleet vehicles from the biggest and best operators. There will be awards for the cleanest trucks, awards for the Road Truck Sprint, Go and Stop and many other competitions. For enthusiasts there will be classic tractors and a steam section where our ‘Transport Through the Ages’ feature will represent over 100 years of haulage.

There are trade and industry indoor and outdoor exhibition areas to suit everyone’s budget with corporate hospitality for companies to display their product and entertain their clients in our top 100 VIP Truck Paddock Club.

The action goes on into Saturday evening with a Mechanics competition, Showtruck lights at night leading into Live Music with a bar and hot food until 11.00 pm.

Rockingham is set in 300 acres with 80 acres of all-weather outdoor and a vast indoor exhibition space.
